Tioman Island (Part 1)
Yo~~Here comes the Tioman Island's post, too many photos to be shown, that's why i took so long to pick photos, hahaaa...
Few months ago, WengChye and me were planning a trip to Tioman Island and we started to ask friends to join, and then YuetLeng also helped us to look for accommodation...So one month ago, finally we departed to Tioman Island, an island where i never plan to go, haha...
As what we planned, Friday right after working, i rushed back to home and skipped my dinner, slept directly because we will depart at midnight...But unfortunately, i was too excited and couldn't sleep, so i decided to wake up and wait for the rest to come...
So as what we planned, everybody was on time but then WengChye suddenly came to my house and told me that Johnny was going to give us a big problem...Guess what he did to all of us?I think you guys won't be able to guess because he promised me that he will reach my house at 11pm...lol
WengChye : You guess what your 'dai lou' doing?
Me : Wahlao, not last minute ffk gua? -_-"
WengChye : He watching "Batman" at Timesquare ler...I called him and he asked me shut up >"< You try to call him and see...
Me : @*&@!#^&^%@#!& What the hell...
Then after that we called him for few times and kept waiting until 1am++ only he reached our place, oh my god we all waited for 2 hours++ and all become sien already >"<
So without talking much, we departed and we took 5 hours to reach Mersing Jetty...
3 cars of us reach Mersing Jetty at 6.15am and all of us were WengChye, PuiLim, WengChye's sister, WeiChih, YingYing, Johnny, KuanHoong, Aries, KahChoon, MuiKee, AhKai, YuetLeng and me...
See everybody was so tired...Hahaa....
So after we ate super salty nasi lemak(WeiChih said the rice like just took out from sea water) lol, then we registered ourselves and we board to the ferry...The ferry costs us RM35 for single way, RM70 for both way...And it took 1.5 - 2 hours to reach Tioman Island...

And this is me...Hahaa....
Finally, we reached Tioman Island...We stopped at Tekek...And this was the ferry that we took...
Everybody getting excited...Ah Kai couldn't wait to jump into the clear blue sea...Hahaa...
Wah...The white clouds plus blue sky...Nice...
Then we walked out of the jetty and one malay guy approached us and offered us to fetch us to the place where we going to stay for 2 days 1 night...At first he asked for RM50 but after we found out that the place is actually less than 5 mins driving distance, we paid only RM35 -_-"
And they fetched us by using this "luxurious" van -_-" And guess what, the driver is younger than 18 years old -_-"
Haha, what were they laughing at?
Yeah, our rooms are facing the sea...
And this is how our rooms look like...Still acceptable for me...
We stayed at Coral's Reef Holidays...Room's rate - 4 person room @ RM150 per night including breakfast and 2 person room @ RM100 per night including breakfast...

Our weekend in Tioman was simply awesome. We loved the fact that we had a whole beach to ourselves. Keep an eye out for the cheeky monkeys though :)
In short, Tioman will be a weekend to remember. Our kids loved their kiddie pool and sunny weather. We all enjoyed the quality time together. And I relished the tranquil surroundings, excellent snorkeling and jungle trekking we did with a very competent nature guide.
Don't forget the quiet evenings with the family by the sea.
All in all a really great time was had by all this long weekend. In fact, we're already booked for the up-coming June school holidays.
