Kundasang @ Sabah (Part 2)

So after we placed our luggage in our room, we decided to go to the Poring Hot Springs first...When we reached there, then WengChye went to ask a staff in the souvenir shop regarding the way to go to see rafflesia and Sabah Tea Garden...According to the staff, Poring will be closed at 10pm and the rafflesia place and Sabah Tea Garden will be closed soon...So we decided to go to Sabah Tea Garden first then only we go to see rafflesia...

So we drove to Sabah Tea Garden and when we reached, it closed already..Haha, what to do...Nothing to see...


One of the structure in Sabah Tea Garden, there is a souvenir shop in it...


We took some leaflet and read the history on the board...

I didn't take photo of the tea garden because it was raining heavily...

After that, we heard from a couple, which is a tourist also, saying that the rafflesia place is actually located very near to Poring Hot Springs only, then we felt like being cheated by the Poring Souvenir Shop's staff...We had no choice but to rush back to Poring Hot Springs and luckily, we managed to see the Rafflesia...

They local resident, if they manage to find any Rafflesia, then they will build fence around the Rafflesia and charge for mayb RM10 per person to see the world largest's flower...


I took this photo of PeiChin and DziYieng while we were waiting for the rest to negotiate the price to see the Rafflesia...

So after few minutes of walking on the super slippery muddy path, we finally see it...


Haha this was the first time i see Rafflesia...Hmm the size was not what i expected to be...Hahaa...


Haha then we started to take photo one by one...

Then we washed our leg with the icy cold water and then we rush into the Poring Hot Spring for Canopy Walk...


Ohh i snapped this before we ran to Poring Hot Spring which is located in 1 minute running distance...Hahaa...
